The last-minute cancellation of their fall tour was totally out of character for the Jonas Brothers, and a few industry insiders seem to think they know the real story.
An E! News insider claims that the dissention between Nick, Kevin, and Joe began this past summer when they decided to take a close look at their image.
While there was talk about trying out an “edgier” vibe, the consensus appeared to be that they’d just keep being the clean cut rockers everyone knew and loved.
Additionally, some of the brothers wanted to drop the “Brothers” portion of the band name and simply go under the “Jonas” moniker.
Furthermore, Joe supposedly wanted to rock out more, while Nick was more interested in a jazzed-up version of their original sound.
